Palau's Blue Prosperity Plan.

This Palau's Blue Prosperity Plan provides for the management of Palau’s ocean and Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), balancing protection of Palau’s precious marine resources with sustainable use of those resources for the benefit of all Palauan people. The Strategy focuses on the following pillars: protection, with an inclusive, science-based Marine Spatial Planning process and the implementation of a science-based zoning plan, and a sustainable fisheries development programme to establish a world-class pelagic fishery that minimises impacts to the country's resources; sustainable economic development, with blue economy development programmes for supporting aquaculture, fisheries management, ecotourism; enabling environment, aimed at increasing capacity building and training, and harbours and other infrastructure improvement.
