Abstract
This Resolution consisting of 10 articles aims at establishing the Committee on Climate Change and Clean Development at the Ministry of Environment. Main tasks of the Committee are (i) follow-up to the meetings of the States Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and its Kyoto Protocol; (ii) propose national policies and action plans for reducing greenhouse gas emissions; (iii) ensure that governmental and non-governmental entities implement the commitments of the Framework Convention on Climate Change and its Kyoto Protocol; (iv) prepare databases in accordance with the requirements of the Convention and the Protocol referred to; (iv) prepare periodic national reports; (v) propose strategies for Clean Development Mechanism and improve the related capacity-building; and (vi) ensure that the proposed clean development projects have been reviewed and evaluated to achieve technology transfer and contribute to sustainable development. The Committee shall report to the Council of Ministers every six months on the results of its work.

This Resolution repeals Resolution No.9 of 2007 and No.10 of 2007, establishing, respectively, the Committee on Climate Change and the Clean Development Committee.Resolution No.37 of 2014 has been approved on 2014-08-21.
