Cabinet Resolution No. 13 of 2025 reorganizing the Climate Change and Clean Development Committee and defining its competencies.

This Resolution comprising 9 articles aims to establish at the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change the Climate Change and Clean Development Committee. Ther main functions of the Committee are as follows (i) provide its opinion on the national climate change plan proposed by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change; (ii) propose an information plan to raise awareness about environmental conservation and the risks of climate change, and to highlight the efforts of state agencies in mitigating climate change and its impacts; (iii) propose appropriate policies and measures to support and encourage national initiatives that contribute to clean development and the reduction of climate change and environmental pollution; (iv) provide its opinion on clean development projects, green growth initiatives, and sustainable production and consumption; (v) propose updates to climate change-related legislation; (vi) prepare databases in accordance with the requirements of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and its Kyoto Protocol; (vii) contribute to the preparation of the periodic national reports, in accordance with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change; (viii) prticipate in local, regional, and international activities related to the work of the Committee.
