Council of Ministers Resolution No.33 of 2006 establishing the National Port Security Committee as amended by Council of Ministers Resolution No.19 of 2018.

This Law consisting of 10 articles aims at establishing at the Ministry of Transport and Communications the National Port Security Committee with the following tasks (i) approve the security assessment and adopt security plans for all ports in the country; (ii) implement control measures and comply with international requirements; and (iii) review the legislation related to the security measures in force in the country's ports. The Committee shall submit to the Minister of Transport and Communications a report on the results of its work every four months.
