Law No. 85 amending Government Ordinance No. 4 regarding the manufacture, marketing and use of phytosanitary products to combat diseases, pests and weeds in agriculture and forestry.

Article 15 letter a) will have the following content: “a) for the manufacture, sale, import, distribution and use of plant protection products, only legal entities will be authorized that have qualified personnel, confirmed by the professional attestation certificate, with higher level of phytosanitary training, as well as the means necessary for the safe storage, handling and use of these products, to eliminate the risks of poisoning people and animals, as well as to protect bees and the environment”. Article 19 paragraph (2) will have the following content: “(2) In order to protect the health of people and animals, the protection of bees and the environment, agricultural producers, natural or legal persons, who use consumer products on the land they own, regarding phytosanitary products from the III and IV toxicity groups, have the obligation to store, handle and use them in accordance with the technical instructions that accompany them, approved according to the acting legislation”.
