Abstract
This Order transposes into the national legislation the rules and provisions contained in the Council Directive 2008/90/EC of 29 September 2008 on the marketing of fruit plant propagating material and fruit plants intended for fruit production, in order to establish a common system for variety registration and related affairs for the controlled and safe marketing of fruit plant propagating material and fruit plants intended for fruit production.
The provisions brought by this text are also determining the marketing, packaging and labelling of fruit plant propagating materials.
