Order No. 1005 regarding the establishment of the persons empowered to establish and apply the sanctions provided by the Law No. 266/2002 on production, processing, control and certification of quality, marketing of seeds and propagating material, as well as testing and registration of plant varieties.

This Order determines the legal bodies and persons in charge and fully authorized to establish and apply the necessary offences/sanctions and related penalties, as previously defined by the provisions of the Law No. 266/2002 on production, processing, control and certification of quality, marketing of seeds and propagating material, as well as testing and registration of plant varieties (Official Gazette of Romania 266/2002 and 7/2011).
The persons indicated under the terms of this Order are the following: counselors from the State Inspectorate with attributions in the field of seeds and planting materials; general manager and certified inspectors of the Central Laboratory for Seed Quality and Planting Material; Executive Director and the certified inspectors of the territorial inspectorates for the verification of the quality control of seeds and planting materials; and persons specially empowered/designated within agricultural chambers or commissions.
