Order No. 369/2016 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on the conditions for practicing recreational/sport fishing, rules for recreational/sport fishing, as well as the forms of recreational/sport fishing permits

This Order of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development assigns the attribution of the recreational/sport fishing rights in the Romanian natural habitats to the National Agency for Fisheries and Aquaculture (ANPA) as manager of the living aquatic resources, except for the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve, where the fishing rights are granted by the Biosphere Administration "The Danube Delta". The practice of recreational or sport fishing in natural habitats, except for the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve, shall be based on annual and non-transferable permits issued by ANPA or through by associations of recreational fishermen (non-profit organizations). The conditions for practicing recreational / sport fishing are set out in Annex 2, which is an integral part of this Order. Duties of supervision are assigned to the Romanian Fishing Sport Federation. ANPA shall have overall supervision and control for puposes of this Order.
