Abstract
This joint Order of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of the Environment, made under article 10 of the Emergency Ordinance on fisheries and aquaculture of 2008 (as amended), approves measures to regulate the fishing effort and the fishing quotas allocated for the year 2018 by species and areas (Black Sea, Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve, Danube River, Prut River, Accumulation Lakes) as laid down in Annexes 1 to 4, which form an integral part of this Order. (Annex 1: Stocks, TAC and fishing effort for the main species of fish on the Black Sea for 2018; Annex 2 Maximum Sustainable Catch (MSY) by fish and aquatic species for 2018 within the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve; Annex 3 Total allowable catch (TAC) from the Danube River (km 140 - km 1075) for 2018 (for various species); Annex 4 Total allowable catch and fishing effort for reservoirs on the Siret River in 2018.
