Order No. 867/2016 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on the conditions for granting the special fishing permit for scientific purposes.

This Order of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, made under section 51 of the Emergency Ordinance on fisheries and aquaculture of 2008 (as amended), provides rules for fishing for scientific purposes a s defined in section 2 of the Ordinance. Research fishing may be carried out in accordance with criteria set out in section 51 and catch may not be subject to commercial handling. Authorization shall be granted by the National Authority for Fisheries and Aquaculture (ANPA). Authorization shall be issued for one year only and licence holder shall observe certain conditions.
