Protocol on the powers for the application of the Agreement between the Government of Romania and the Government of Ukraine on cooperation in the field of border waters.

During the meeting, the representatives of the Parties have agreed that Tisa River and its tributaries in the border area flows must be kept at the level with a probability of exceeding 5% and 10%. The Parties exchanged reports for the Siret and Prut rivers related to the year 2019. In 2019, in the border area of the Danube River, there were no hydrometeorological phenomena or special floods that could affect the condition of the dikes. The Parties informed each other about the operation of the information flow during the period of high water, how the provisions of the Regulation were fulfilled, the dates and characteristic phenomena related to the flow of floods, the removal of the danger caused by ice, the most important operations and measures performed, by the defense actions during this period of hydrotechnical works.
