Abstract
This Regulation establishes the procedures and technical norms regarding the identification of the damages brought to the environment, in order to determine the responsibilities for their remediation.
Topics covered by this text are structured in five main Chapters, as follows: Chapter 1 General provisions; Chapter 2 Alert thresholds and intervention thresholds; Chapter 3 Soil pollution regulations; Chapter 4 Regulations on air pollution assessment; Chapter 5 Regulations on the assessment of surface and groundwater pollution.
The Annex is also part of this publication (reference values for traces of chemical elements in the soil).
