Abstract
This Law amends and reedits several articles part of the Law on plant protection products (originally published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia 41/2009).
Changes are related to the general definitions and denominations (article 3 of the original text); issues regarding the directorate for national reference laboratories and public interest affairs (articles 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9); rules on registration of plant protection products (articles 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 20, 22, 23, 24 and 26,); names of plant protection products and conditions for the application of plant protection products (article 44); prohibition of plant protection products (article 45); users obligations (article 46); protection of bees, aquatic organisms and other non-target organisms (article 49); control tests (article 51); legal enforcement issues (article 70); inspection and supervision (article 72); rights and duties of the phytosanitary inspector (article 74); measures ordered and imposed by phytosanitary inspectors (article 75); offences and penalties (articles 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83 and 84).

Entry into force notes
This Law enters into force eighth days after its publication in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia, except for the provisions of article 23 paragraphs 8-11 and article 25 of this text which shall apply starting 1 January 2022.
