Abstract
This Law amends various articles part of the provisions prescribed by the Nature Protection Law (Official Gazette 36/2009).
Major changes are related to the general definitions, denominations and terms; scopes and duties of the competent bodies; administrative requirements; inspection and monitoring also related to the reporting to the European and other international Commissions and/or bodies; technical issues and concrete actions in the field of nature protection.

Entry into force notes
This Law enters into force eight days after its publication in the "Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia", except for the provisions of articles 4 (paragraph 5), article 5 (paragraph 3) which will be apply on the day of accession of the Republic of Serbia into the European Union.
