Abstract
This Regulation amends certain provisions prescribed by the Regulation on the conditions for animal welfare in terms of space for the animals, premises and equipment in production facilities, the method of keeping, breeding and transport of some animal species and categories, as well as the keeping of records about animals (originally published in the Official Gazette 6/2010 and already amended in the Gazette 57/2014).
Changes are related to added specific new rules and technical issues regarding laying hens (poultry production) reared in unenriched batteries cages (article 32). These updated provisions of the original article 32 shall apply no later than 31 December 2023.
