This Regulation defines various animal welfare conditions in terms of space and equipment in animal production/reproduction facilities, including the necessary methods for keeping, additional welfare rules for breeding and transport of some animal species, as well as the issues regarding the keeping of records about animals (on the territory of the Republic of Serbia).

Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette, except for the provisions of articles 47, 48, 49, 50 and 51 that will enter into force on 1 July 2010, and the provisions of articles 11, 17,18, 25, 33, 43, 44 and 45 that shall enter into force on 1 January 2012.
