The basis of forest management contains two parts: the georeferenced data base and the textual part. The base database contains data on: forest condition, forest management plans and records of completed works. The data in the base database are georeferenced to the department level. Forest technical infrastructure objects are specially georeferenced. Forest condition includes: description of habitat, description of stands and inventory data. The description of the habitat contains data on: ownership, land use, relief or shape of the terrain, altitude, exposure, geological base, soil, flooding, erosion, dead cover and humification, ground vegetation, forest type and other significant data for habitat description.
