Abstract
This Regulation here determines the detailed conditions regarding the quality of cocoa and chocolate products (food products), namely for: classification, categorization and name of the product; physical, chemical, physicochemical and sensory properties and composition of the product; the type and amount of ingredients and additives used in the production of the product; declaration, as well as additional requirements for labelling of such products.
The following Annexes are here attached: Annex 1 - Names, definitions and conditions of product quality; and Annex 2 - Vegetable fats that can be added to chocolate products in addition to cocoa butter.
Entry into force notes
This text entered into force on eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette and it starts applying on 1 July 2020.
