Abstract
This Regulation determines the nature and ecosystem compensatory measures, as well as the manner of choosing the most suitable compensatory measure, in order to mitigate the harmful consequences on an ecologically significant area or protected natural good, caused by the implementation of planned projects, works and activities in nature areas.
Compensatory measures are carried out in order to restore or replace damaged parts of nature, habitats, strictly protected wild species or protected wild species and their functions. Legal entities, entrepreneurs and natural persons, in order to carry out activities in nature and mitigate the harmful consequences, shall take compensatory measures depending on whether the damage is foreseen or caused. Compensatory measures to mitigate the harmful effects on nature are: 1) remediation measures; 2) primary rehabilitation; 3) establishment of a new locality; 4) a possible combination of measures all these measures.
