Regulation on conditions and manner of conducting the procedure of risk analysis and risk management.

This Regulation hereby determines the necessary conditions and manner of conducting the procedure of risk analysis and risk management in the field of plant health protection on the territory of the Republic of Serbia.
The above mentioned process of risk analysis is carried when dealing with plant imports, imports of plant products and regulated objects; when a specific harmful organism of similar is identified and represents concrete threat; when there is a concrete need reconsider or modify the existing phytosanitary measures; and when there is a need to determine whether an organism is harmful or not.
The rules here stipulated are also in accordance with the International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPM Framework for pest risk analysis); International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures (Guidelines for export, transit and import of biological-control agents and other beneficial organisms; International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures No. 11 (Risk analysis for quarantine harmful organisms, including analysis of environmental risks from genetically modified organisms); and other that are listed under the provisions of the article 3.
