Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the conditions that must be met by breeding domestic animals and quality breeding domestic animals for the purpose of introduction into the breeding process. Female breeding domestic animals may be introduced into breeding if, in terms of health status, they meet the requirements in accordance with the law governing animal health protection. Male breeding domestic animals may be introduced into breeding if: 1) meet the conditions referred to in article 2 of this text; 2) in the Republic of Serbia there is not a sufficient number of quality male breeding domestic animals of certain species; 3) meet the requirements for full or incomplete origin; 4) are entered into proper registry; 5) are licensed. Article 7 sets out issues regarding the contents of the report on obtained license. Quality breeding female animals are evaluated and selected for introduction into breeding once a year, at selection fairs. Quality breeding heads (male breeds) for natural mating can be put into breeding if: 1) have pedigrees; 2) are entered in the main registry records; 3) meet the conditions referred to in article 2 of this text; 4) were evaluated at the selection review.
