Abstract
This Regulation determines the conditions, contents of the programme and methods for undertaking the professional exam for fisheries officers of the Republic of Serbia, that shall be engaged in fishery and fishery related activities monitoring and inspection tasks on home based inland fishing waters.
This text further sets the rules regarding the professional examination for fishermen.
Application for taking these professional exams is submitted to the national Ministry competent for environmental affairs.
The programme for taking professional exams for fisheries officers shall involve a knowledge check, also on laws and other regulations related to the protection and sustainable use of the fish fund, as well as a knowledge check as regards the fish stock or fund of the Republic of Serbia (article 6).
The programme of the professional exam for fishermen includes a knowledge check on laws related to the protection and sustainable use of the fish fund, regulations on measures for the preservation and protection of fish stock or fund, regulations on the manner and tools engaged in commercial fishing as well as the manner, tools and equipment to be used for recreational fishing, as well as a knowledge check on the fish stock of the Republic of Serbia (article 7).
