Abstract
This Regulation provides for detailed conditions in terms of technical equipment and method of heat treatment of wood materials meant for packaging purposes.
Parameters, procedural indications and conditions regarding the technical equipment are laid down in Chapter II; detailed methods and rules as regards the heat treatment are listed in Chapter III. Heat treatment of wood materials meant for packaging purposes involves a process of physical heating of such materials until achieving a minimum temperature in the middle of the element of 56° Celsius, for a time frame of at least 30 minutes.
The Annex is also part of this publication (containing technical schemes/figures as referred in article 9).
