Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the necessary conditions for performing the treatment and marking of wood packaging material, including the manner of heat treatment and marking of such materials. Treatment is an officially approved method of destroying plant pests. The provisions of this text are meant for wood packaging material of coniferous and deciduous trees, such as: wood for packing, holding, fastening or reinforcing consignments, pallets, crates, boxes, frames, supports, partitions, linings and other products.
The Annex is also part of this publication (containing administrative form for requesting authorization to perform related heat treatments; and indications on proper marking).
