Regulation on costs of examining the varieties and on annual costs for maintaining the breeder rights.

This Regulation determines the amount or related costs as regards the examination of plant varieties in the process of allocation of breeder's rights in respect to specific tested plant variety.
This text also sets out the amount of annual costs for maintaining such breeder’s rights on the territory of the Republic of Serbia.
These rules are all aimed at granting the rights and functions as provided by the Law on Protection of Plant Breeders' Rights (published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia 41/2009 and already amended in the Gazette 88/2011).
Article 7 states that the fees for maintain the acquired breeder’s rights shall be paid directly into the budget of the Republic of Serbia until the beginning of the year for which the fees has to be paid (anticipated payment obligation).
