Abstract
This Regulation determines the contents of the official national Programme for monitoring of food safety of plant and mixed origin of the Republic of Serbia for 2019.
The terms and aims of this Programme are intended for facilities, located on the territory of the Republic of Serbia, if engaged in activities such as production of food of plant and mixed origin; storage and distribution of food of plant and mixed origin; large sale warehouses dealing with big quantities of food of plant and mixed origin. These provisions are also aimed for imported cereals, cereal products and food products such as ketchup, corn sugar in cans and glass, sauces with extract or free of meat extracts, biscuits and crackers with soya and corn flour, baking powder, tofu cheese, sausages and sausage hamburgers, peanut butter, chewing gum, hard candy, rubber candy, milk caramels and refreshing non-alcoholic drinks (if containing the aspartame with code E 951).
The monitoring Programme is elaborated and implemented on the basis of a risk analysis taking into account the following elements: the current state of the plant and food safety system, including data on unsafe food at the local market, regional and international level; the data on the production and consumption of food of plant and mixed origin; the data on previously identified nonconformities during related official control; information of the Rapid alert system and its international data share with other food authorities (International Food Safety Authorities Network/INFOSAN).
