Regulation determining the Programme of plant health protection measures for the year 2020.

This Regulation determines the Serbian Programme of plant health protection measures for the year 2020, which full text is part of this publication.
Main actions regulated by this Programme are prescribed in order to prevent the occurrence, introduction, spread and to impose controls as regards the prsence of plant harmful organisms. The following key actions to be perfomed are here identified: 1) constant supervision of plants through the official process of recording, collecting and processing data on the presence or absence of harmful organisms on the basis of phytosanitary examinations, monitoring and checking health status or other procedures based on all other available sources; 2) special surveillance of harmful organisms, prescribed by this program, which is carried out in a specified period of time, in order to detect harmful organisms or determine the characteristics of their population or determine the boundaries of the area in which they are present or absent. Funds for conducting surveillance for the presence of harmful organisms (examination, sampling, trap monitoring, laboratory testing, transport of samples, quarantine area), prescribed by this Programme, shall be provided by the law governing the budget of the Republic of Serbia for the year 2020.
