Regulation on the list of electrical and electronic products, measures of prohibition and restrictions on the use of electrical and electronic equipment containing hazardous substances, manner and procedure of waste management of electrical and electronic products.

This Regulation, as in accordance with provisions of the Serbian Law on waste management, provides the list of electrical and electronic products containing hazardous substances, measures of prohibition and restrictions on the use of electrical and electronic equipment containing hazardous substances; and sets the manner and procedure of waste management of electrical and electronic products. Waste management for electrical and electronic products ensures conditions for the: 1) prevention of waste from electrical and electronic products; 2) reuse, recycling and other forms of utilization of such waste, as well as reduction of waste disposal; 3) improvement of environmental protection standards by manufacturers, importers, distributors, sellers and end users during the product life cycle, and especially in the treatment and disposal of waste from such electrical and electronic products.
The Annex is also part of this publication (containing: samples of related labels/marks; classification list of electrical and electronic equipment subject to the provisions of this text; list of electrical and electronic products classified by related classes of electrical and electronic equipment; list of electrical and electronic equipment not subject to prohibitions and restrictions regarding the presence of hazardous substances; list of indications for treatment of separately collected waste equipment in waste equipment treatment plants/facilities; and list of technical requirements for storage and treatment of waste equipment).
