Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the methodology for collecting data for the National Inventory of Unintentionally Released Long-Term Organic Pollutants.
The collection of data for the Inventory is done for the systematic recording and submission of data necessary for reporting emissions from sources of unintentionally released long-term organic pollutants in accordance with the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants, and the POPs Protocol Convention on long-range air pollution.
Inventory is a sector-organized database that contains in particular: collected data on activities required for reporting on emissions of unintentionally released long-term organic pollutants; applied emission factors; calculation of the value of emissions of unintentionally released long-term organic pollutants; additional information and assumptions used for necessary calculations; reports on the inventory of unintentionally released long-term organic pollutants. This inventory is part of the information system of the environmental protection of the Republic of Serbia, managed by the Agency for Environmental Protection.
Data collected for the Inventory, shall be classified into the following categories: waste incineration; production of ferrous and non-ferrous metals; energy and heat production; production of mineral products; transport; uncontrolled combustion/combustion processes; production and use of chemicals and other consumer goods; waste disposal; endangered areas and possible different sources.
