Abstract
This Law provides complete measures for correct and sustainable air quality control, and for organization, protection and improvement of fresh air.
The Law aims at improving air quality by: the establishment, maintenance and improvement of the unique system of air control, over the Serbian Republic territory; the preservation and improvement of air quality using security measures to avoid or reduce the impact on humans and/or nature; avoiding, stopping and reducing pollution which can be destructive for the ozone layer and climate change; tracking, collecting and elaborating the requested information and data regarding air quality, in compliace with air quality standards; providing information and access to data on air quality; executing orders and provisions regarding international agreements; and international cooperation.
The Law is not to be applied if it relates to radioactive materials, industrial incidents and natural disasters.
