Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the methods of variety examination for perennial forage legumes on experimental fields and in authorized laboratories (on the territory of the Republic of Serbia) in order to determine their exact variety (also in order to establish the essential characteristics).
Perennial forage legumes in terms of this Regulation are the following: Alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.ssp.sativa), Red clover (Trifolium pratense), White clover (Trifolium repens L.), Birdsfoot trefoil (Lotus corniculatus L.), White Sweet clover (Melilotus alba Medic.), Swedish clover ( Trifolium hybridum L.), Persian clover (Trifolium resupinatum L.), Alexandrian clover (Trifolium alexandrinum L.), sainfoin (Onobrychis viciifolia Scop.), Orijentalis galega (Galega orientalis L.) and (Medicago lupulina L.).
