Abstract
This Regulation declares that the area of the Kalenić forest between Juhor and Gledićki mountains in central Serbia is placed under protection as the Strict Nature Reserve "Kalenić", which is classified in the category I of protected area of international, national and exceptional importance.
Strict nature reserve "Kalenić" is placed under protection to preserve biodiversity, a rare and unique climatogenic forest community of malt and cera (Quercetum farnetto-cerris) aged about 100 years, which is a significant habitat for strictly protected species of bird fauna such as muskrats, forest owl, large colorful woodpecker, blackbird, thrush mistletoe, large and common gray tit, hummingbird, ect.
