Abstract
This Regulation declares as natural rarities some rare and endangered animal species whose survival as species is endangered due to natural causes or human activity, or which are endangered by use and trade. This text sets the rules in order to preserve the gene fund and animal communities of certain ecosystems of the Republic. Animals subject to complete ban on use and trade are listed in article 2. Article 3 lists the animals which are subject to use and traffic control.
The Republic Institute for Nature Protection takes care of the protection of natural rarities by implementing the protection and development programme, and is in charge for performing expert supervision over the implementation of established protection measures and for popularizing these protected natural rarities, as well as holders or users of these rarities.
Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
