Regulation on protection of certain plant species as natural rarities.

This Regulation declares as natural rarities those plant varieties considered as rare, sparse and endangered plant species, whose survival is endangered due to natural causes or human activity, or which are endangered by their use and trade.
This decisions is adopted in order to preserve the ecosystem and gene fund of individual varieties as listed in article 2 (prohibited logging, picking, destruction and trade), and in article 3 (list of varieties subject to use and traffic control). Article 4 declares that for natural rarities referred to in article 2 and article 3a of this Regulation, a protection and development programme will be adopted, which shall determine the conditions for more complete information and popularization of such protected natural rarities. Article 5 states that the Republic Institute for Nature Protection takes care of the protection of natural rarities here listed.
