Abstract
This Regulation prescribes all necessary conditions regarding the quality of raw coffee, coffee products, coffee substitutes and related and/or deriving products, also providing the: classification, categorization and name/official denomination; sensory, physical and chemical properties, and composition; type and quantity of raw materials, additives and other substances used in the production and processing; sampling methods and quality testing; specific technological procedures used in the production and processing; packaging and labelling.
The conditions stipulated by this Regulation must be met at all stages of production, processing and transport of raw coffee, coffee products, coffee substitutes and related and/or deriving products.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
