Abstract
This Regulation determines the types of oenological practices and oenological resources for the production of aromatized wines.
This text also sets the methods and technological requirements for processing and production; necessary quality issues; declaration, packaging and labelling methods; names of recognized geographical designations and related labelling; and rules on the procedure of the recognition of new geographical indication.
The Annex is also part of this publication (Annex 1: oenological methods, means and other requirements for the production of aromatised wines; Annex 2: market names and descriptions of aromatised wines; and Annex 3: products and substances used in the production of aromatised wines).

Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette, but it will apply starting 1 March 2017; except for the provisions covering the protected geographical indications (article 19) that shall enter into force on 1 January 2022.
