Regulation on special technical-technological solutions that enable unhindered and safe communication of wild animals.

This Regulation sets special technical-technological solutions aimed at enabling unhindered and safe communication of wild animals, including related protection measures and also determines the manner of maintaining of such technical-technological solutions.
Special technical-technological solutions can be: ecological bridges, purpose-built passages and crossings, tunnels or underground passages, culverts, ditches, safety and directing facilities, fish paths and elevators, etc. (generally denominated as ecological crossings). Ecological crossings are determined on the basis of analysis of ecological condition and endangerment of specific area that is observed, composition of natural vegetation and movement of present or migrating wild animals, especially in the reproductive period, which is done in the process of determination of nature protection conditions. Types of ecological crossings are: crossings for amphibians and reptiles; crossings for small wild animals; crossings for large wild animals; landscape bridges.
