Abstract
This Regulation specifies the content of the Soil Monitoring Programme, and sets out the methodology for systematic monitoring of soil quality and condition; criteria for determining the number and layout of measuring points; list of parameters for a particular soil type; list of methods and standards used for soil sampling; issues on sample analysis and data processing; and oher necessary topics such as scope and frequency of measurements, indicators for assessing the risk of land degradation, deadlines and manner of of obtained submitting data.
The Soil Monitoring Programme includes in particular: number and arrangement of localities, position of measuring points shown in UTM coordinate system (Transverse Mercator coordinate system); number of profiles to be opened, and number of samples to be taken at each locality; list of parameters to be tested at soil sampling sites; list of methods and standards used for soil sampling and sample analysis and data processing; selected indicators for risk assessment of land degradation for each measuring point (state monitoring network); and defined time dynamics of soil sampling, sample analysis, data processing and presentation.
