Regulation on Waste Landfilling.

This Regulation shall closely stipulate the conditions and criteria for the establishment of location, technical and technological conditions for design, construction and operation of landfills, waste types landfilling of which shall be prohibited, the amount of biodegradable waste which could be disposed, criteria and procedures for acceptance or non-acceptance, the manner and operation procedures and closure of a landfill, the content and the monitoring of landfill operation manner, as well as future maintenance after the landfill closure.
Landfilling of waste shall establish and provide for conditions that shall disable and reduce hazardous impacts on human health and the environment throughout whole landfill life cycle, particularly the pollution of surface and ground waters, soil and air, including the greenhouse effect.
