Abstract
This Law hereby prescribe various provisions aimed to regulate the conditions and manner of the trade (general commerce activity) with goods and services on the territory of the Republic of Serbia.
The rules here defined are made to offer a solid basis for the protection and promotion of safe, secure, and correct relations and dynamics in trading activities, also providing for necessary supervision and inspection issues. All trading activities are carried out under conditions and in the manner determined by this Law and other Regulations governing trade in goods and services as well as good business practices and business ethics.
The classification of trading activities is listed in the Chapter III; the minimum conditions for the performance of trade related activities are defined in the Chapter IV; Chapter VI is about the promotion of trading sector.
The Law is divided into X Chapters and 81 articles, including offences and related penalties.
