Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran on cooperation in the sphere of construction of nuclear power plant on the territory of Iran.

The Parties have agreed to cooperate for construction of nuclear power plant ready-to-operate of medium capacity equipped with reactor plant of VVER type and operation thereof. The competent Russian organizations: (a) shall assist Iranian organizations in engineering and consultations; (b) shall collect all the necessary basic data for projecting nuclear power plant; (c) shall elaborate technical and working documentation related to basic and auxiliary sites of nuclear power plant; (c) shall ensure at all stages access to documentation to Iranian experts; (d) shall supply to Iran equipment , devices, materials and documentation produced in the Russian Federation.
