Abstract
The Supreme Soviet decrees to put into effect Basic Forestry Legislation from the date of its official publication except for paragraph three of the Article eight, that enters into force from 01 January 1994. Forestry Code of the RSFSR is invalidated. The Government must conform its Legislative Acts to this Basic Forestry Legislation by 01 July 1993. The Supreme Soviet recommends the President to re-organize Federal Forest Service in the Forest Ministry.
