Decree No.380-P of 2003 of the Regional Legislative Assembly regarding validation of the Program of wildlife protection for the period of 2003-2007.

Regional Legislative Assembly decrees to validate Program of wildlife protection for the period of 2003-2007, to authorize Regional Administration to carry out coordination of activity as regards carrying out the Program and to envisage financing of the Program arrangements out of Regional budget. The main target of the Program is to stabilize and to increase the number of wildlife species subject to hunting and ensure their rational utilization. The main tasks of the Program include improvement of the protection of wildlife species subject to hunting, improvement of the conditions of reproduction of wildlife species, improvement of the system of registration and monitoring of wildlife species and their habitats. The main arrangements of the Program regard protective measures in hunting reserves and in protected areas, setting up game reserves, feeding wildlife species in the winter period, regulation of the number of predators, setting up regional database on hunting inspection, cadastre and monitoring of hunting resources. The document consists of 9 Sections. Section 1 contains passport of the Program. Section 2 contains substantiation of the Program. Section 3 deals with targets, tasks and periods of carrying out Program. Section 4 sets the system of the Program arrangements. Section 5 regards financing of the Program. Section 6 deals with the expected outcome of the realization of the Program. Section 7 establishes the mechanism of carrying out the Program. Section 8 deals with organization of management and control over the course of carrying out the Program. Section 9 is the Annex that contains the amount of financing of the Program arrangements.
