Federal Law No. 206-FZ amending Federal Law 68-FZ of 1994 on protection of the population and of the territories from environmental and technological emergencies.

Article 4 shall acquire a new wording: “Article 4. Common state system of prevention and liquidation of emergencies unites management bodies, forces and means of the Federal Executive bodies, regional executive bodies, and local self-government authorized to make decisions regarding protection of the population and territories against emergencies. The main tasks of the common state system shall be: elaboration of legislative and economic regulations for the protection of population and territories against emergencies; purposeful scientific and technical programs for the prevention of emergencies; data collection, reporting and supply of information; early warning system; international cooperation.”
