Federal Law No. 54-FZ amending Federal Law No. 209-FZ “On hunting and conservation of hunting resources.”

Chapter 11 shall be supplemented with a new Article 55 (1) of the following wording: “Preparation and training of hunting dogs (dogs, used for the performance of hunting) shall be authorized only in hunting grounds and only by methods preventing cruel treatment of animals and causing them physical harm. In the case of the use of animals, kept in semi-captive conditions, for training of hunting dogs, the area of their autonomous movement, or their protective functions shall be used enclosing (separating) structures between hunting dogs and animals, preventing cruel treatment of animals and causing them physical harm, in accordance with the procedure established by the authorized federal body of executive power. Use of hunting infrastructure for training of hunting dogs in allotted hunting grounds shall be performed by individual entrepreneurs and legal entities in accordance with hunting agreements.”
