Federal Law No.49-FZ of 2003 on amendments and addenda to the Federal Law No.155-FZ of 1998 “On internal waters, territorial sea and contiguous zone”.

The title of the Article 24 acquires a new wording “Definition of marine research and the principles of its realization.” In the paragraphs 3 and 4 of the Article 25 the wording “and stateless persons” must be excluded, the wording “international organizations” must be substituted with the wording “competent international organizations”. In the Article 26 paragraph 2 of the issue 1 must be excluded and the article must be supplemented with a new issue (No.3) of the following contents: “Authorization for carrying out marine research is issued to the Russian declarant either on the grounds of inclusion in the annual plan of the declared marine research or in an exceptional way.” In the paragraph 2 of the Article 29 the wording “data bases” must be substituted with the wording “scientific organizations”.
