Government Decree No. 1742 validating the Rules for state registration of breeding animals and breeding herds in the federal state information and analytical system of breeding resources and cancellation of registration.

These Rules define the procedure for state registration of breeding animals and breeding herds in the Federal State Information and Analytical System of Breeding Resources and the cancellation of registration, including registration deadlines and the list of information on breeding animals and breeding herds subject to inclusion in the information system. Breeding animals and breeding herds that have undergone appropriate breeding value assessment are subject to registration. Registration is carried out by executive bodies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation implementing management in the field of breeding livestock, based on information on breeding animals and breeding herds, which is mandatory for breeding farms to provide. Breeding animals and breeding herds are considered registered from the date of registration in the information system and assigned a registration number. Information on registered breeding animals and breeding herds in the information system is provided to the applicant as an extract from the information system in the form of an electronic document, signed with an enhanced qualified electronic signature.
