Government Resolution No. 526 “On measures for fire prevention in forests”.

The following measures shall be included in the fire safety arrangement measures for forests: (a) clearing of forest clearings, clearing of fire breaks, clearing of fire mineralized strips and their renewal; (b) operation of fire reservoirs and approaches to water supply sources; (c) improvement of recreation areas for citizens staying in forests; (d) installation and operation of barriers, construction of obstacles that limit the presence of citizens in forests in order to ensure fire safety; (e) creation and maintenance of fire barriers and construction of deciduous edges; and (f) installation and placement of stands and other signs and pointers containing information on fire safety measures in forests.
