Abstract
Premier decrees to validate for the period of 2004: 1. total allowable catch (harvest) of Pacific salmon to the amount of 4355, 8 tons for ensuring proper needs (personal consumption) of indigenous scanty population and ethnic communities of the North, Siberia and Far East and which way of life, employment and economy traditionally depends on the aforesaid resources to be distributed among coastal regions of the Russian Federation in accordance with Annex 1; 2. total allowable catch (harvest) of Pacific salmon to the amount of 234238, 77 tons for industrial purposes in surface water basins, internal sea and territorial sea (coastal fisheries) to be distributed among coastal regions of the Russian Federation in accordance with Annex 2; 3. total allowable catch (harvest) of Pacific salmon to the amount of 12361, 35 tons for scientific research purposes, educational and cultural purposes in accordance with Annex 3; 4. total allowable catch (harvest) of Pacific salmon to the amount of 2542, 1 tons for the purpose of stock enhancement and acclimatization in accordance with Annex 4; total allowable catch (harvest) of Pacific salmon to the amount of 2321, 53 tons for artisanal and sport fisheries to be distributed among coastal regions of the Russian Federation in accordance with Annex 5.
