Abstract
The Governor, taking into consideration specificity of management of fishing water bodies and organization of fisheries therein, classifies fishing areas in conformity with the following categories: 1) column – water body or part thereof destined for catch of fish by fyke nets, invisible nets, fixed nets, sweep-nets, scrapers and hooks with bait for catch of sheat-fish; 2) stationary and seasonal fishery - an area with defined area of water and adjoining coastal zone up to 20 metres wide - towing-path destined for catch of fish by sweep nets and scrapers; 3) card-mounting fishery - an area with defined area of water and adjoining coastal zone up to 20 metres wide - towing-path destined for catch of fish by river sweep nets. Compulsory condition for obtaining industrial fisheries licence is the availability of the allocated fishing area.
